Meadowview Temecula Homes With an ADU, Pool and RV Parking

Can you find a Temecula home with a pool, a private ADU and RV parking? Yes — in Meadowview. This pocket of Temecula pairs three-quarter-acre lots with detached ADUs, pools and gated RV parking that most of the city simply cannot offer.

Why This Combination Is So Rare in Temecula

Buyers searching for homes in Temecula usually have to pick two out of four: acreage, a single story, a pool, or space for the toys. Getting all four on one parcel — plus a separate second dwelling — is a different conversation entirely.

Meadowview is one of the few Temecula neighborhoods where that conversation is even possible. The lots are large, the layouts are mostly single story, and the community was built around open space. The property in the tour above sits on roughly three-quarters of an acre with a full accessory dwelling unit, five garage bays, and a fenced pool.

If you have been watching single story homes in Temecula come and go, you already know how thin that inventory gets. Add a pool and a separate guest building and the list shortens fast.

Inside the Main House

An Open Layout Built Around a Courtyard

The approach sets the tone: a gated front courtyard with a fountain, pavers underfoot, and irrigation run to every planter — even the pots. It is the kind of detail that tells you the last owners actually lived in the outdoor space rather than just landscaping it.

Inside, the plan opens immediately. A formal living room sits to the right, a guest half bath just past it, and the ceilings do something unusual for this neighborhood — they go up. Most of Meadowview was built with eight-foot ceilings. This home sits on one of the newer streets in the community, which is why the vaulted ceilings are here at all.

The Kitchen

Quartz counters, a large center island, high-quality cabinetry in excellent condition, a five-burner gas cooktop, stainless double ovens and a walk-in pantry with real depth. There is also a built-in desk nook off the main run — the spot most people end up using for mail, homework or a laptop.

The breakfast nook opens to a brick gas fireplace, and the dining room carries new plantation shutters throughout. The living spaces slide straight out to a covered patio and pergola, so the indoor and outdoor square footage functions as one.

Bedrooms and Baths

The primary suite is on its own side of the home, bright, with remote-controlled blinds you can drop from the bed and a partial view down toward the pool. The primary bath runs his-and-hers counters and looks out toward the RV parking side of the lot.

Guest bedrooms sit on the opposite wing, one of them looking directly into the courtyard. All of the bathrooms have been updated within the past couple of years.

The ADU: A Separate Building With Its Own Front Door

This is the piece most Temecula homes do not have. The accessory dwelling unit is a studio setup with a private entrance, its own kitchenette, and a slider that opens straight to the pool deck.

Practically, that gives you options: long-term guest quarters, a home office that is genuinely separate from the house, a rental, or a pool house and game room given how close it sits to the water. In a market where second units are increasingly hard to add from scratch, buying one that already exists is a meaningful shortcut.

Five Garage Bays and Gated RV Parking

The garage count breaks down as three separate structures. There is an extra-long standard two-car attached to the main house — deep enough for vehicles plus real storage. There is a second two-car attached to the ADU building, currently set up as a home gym, finished and running its own mini-split. And there is a single-car bay that most owners have used purely as storage.

Beyond the garages, a private gate opens to dedicated RV parking. That gate is not decorative: the Meadowview HOA requires recreational vehicles to be stored behind one, so a property that already has the gate installed saves you a permitting conversation later.

The home also sits on a quiet street with a cul-de-sac on the far side, so through traffic is essentially nonexistent.

The Backyard: Pool, Pergola and Three-Quarters of an Acre

The rear yard is where the lot size registers. A large flat lawn runs out from the covered patio, the pool is fully fenced and was recently resurfaced, and a pad above the yard steps up to a viewing area the sellers had earmarked for a gazebo but never built.

From that upper pad you look back down over the house toward the western sky, where Temecula sunsets actually happen. A former garden bed sits unused nearby, ready for whoever wants it back.

Meadowview: 400+ Acres of Open Space Inside Temecula

The community is the other half of the value here. Meadowview holds more than 400 acres of shared open space, a clubhouse, community pools, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts, an equestrian arena, and miles of private walking and riding trails.

It was originally built out as an equestrian center in Temecula's early years and technically still is one, though horses are less common now than they once were. The meadow at the center of the community has its own landmarks — a windmill near the entrance that locals use as a reference point, and a labeled native California plant area that functions as a small outdoor classroom. The HOA even brings in goats periodically to graze the meadow instead of mowing it.

All of that sits inside Temecula city limits, minutes from Old Town and Temecula Wine Country, and within easy reach of Murrieta and the rest of Southwest Riverside County.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Meadowview in Temecula allow RV parking?

Yes, with a condition. The Meadowview HOA requires recreational vehicles to be stored behind a gate rather than parked in open view. Homes that already have a permitted RV gate and pad in place are worth more attention for that reason alone.

What can you use an ADU for in Temecula?

An accessory dwelling unit with a private entrance and kitchenette can serve as guest quarters, a detached home office, a rental unit, or flexible living space. California has steadily expanded ADU rights, but any specific rental use should be confirmed against current City of Temecula rules and your HOA's governing documents before you count on it.

Are there single story homes with vaulted ceilings in Meadowview?

Some, but not many. Most of Meadowview was built with eight-foot ceilings. The newer streets within the community are where you find vaulted and raised ceiling heights, which is one of the specific things to look for when you tour homes here.
